Sharlot was an Adventuress in a myriad of ways. If she wasn't actually out on an adventure, she was planning an adventure, dreaming of an adventure, listening to someone's adventure or drafting a poem about someone's adventure.
"I was singing my own songs long before I could even spell out the words," Sharlot once said of her early girlhood days.

Susun and I have been celebrating Sharlot Hall ever since we have been together. On our very first campfire in 1987, I read Sharlot Hall poems to Susun from my cherished first edition copy of "Cactus & Pine."
By naming our truck Sharlot, we hope to create many more opportunities to honor and celebrate Sharlot Hall's Lore and Legacy. We also hope that Sharlot's Spirit will grace our Journeys and Adventures and that she will continue to inspire us to travel high and higher, on to higher yet...
